Hello and Welcome

Update (2012-02-16) - Unexpected downtime

Due to unforeseen circumstances we had a bit of a slow down. Our host company (codero.com) fixed us up when I couldn't access the server, so a big thanks go out to them. For now, looks like we're back in business and with no major hassles. Keep on truckin'.

Update (2011-12-28) - Seasons Greetings

Did you ever wonder where the Angel often found at the top of Christmas trees comes from? Well, here's the story.

Once upon a time very far away, Santa was getting ready for his annual Christmas run but was having a bad day. Four elves got sick. Then the trainee elves failed to produce the toys as fast as they should. Then Mrs. Claus told Santa that her mum was coming to visit. (Oh, the stress of being Santa).

When Santa went to harness his rein-deer he found three were about to give birth and two hand jumped the fence, and when he began to load his sleigh a sack broke - dumping toys all over the ground.

Frustrated, Santa went into his house for a cup of coffee and a smallish nip but found the elves had been to the cup-board before him. And then he dropped his mug which broke into many pieces.

Just then the door-bell rang. He opened it to find a little angel with a great big Christmas tree. And the angel said, "Santa, where would you like to put this?"

And that, my friends, is how the little angel came to be on top of the Christmas tree.

Update (2011-10-24) - Your Identity and Online Play

If you are asked to confirm your identity in the chat room, then please do so without reservation or hesitation. Such requests are nothing personal nor are they a mark or accusation against you. It is unfortunate but confirming your identity has sometimes become necessary in the past few weeks.

For those of you who may not know, we've had problems of late from somebody with social and behavioral issues - among the worst are impersonating other mtmers for the purpose of disrupting online game-play. By and large the problem has been dealt with but it does crop up again from time to time. As a result, we sometimes need to verify that you are not the impostor. If you refuse, there is a high probability you will be removed from the chat and the game.

Ours is not an ideal world and sometimes mistakes are made. If you find you have been wrongfully removed from the game or the chat, then by all means contact me and we'll work to straighten out any misunderstandings. In the meantime, please bear with us as we strive to make our game a fun place for everybody.

Cheers - and keep on truckin'.

Update (2011-10-06) - SpazMonstr Special Rumble Month

I'm happy to report the results for the SpazMonstr Special Month of Rumbling which found Jammer on top, Styles a close second, and Scatter breathing down their back. Well done, guys.

I'd also like to give thanks to MacRobby for the great job he does for us on tournament graphics. And especially for his creative rendering of SpazMonstr this time around.

It's official: Jammer's a rumbler now!

Official results on the rumble website.
